“ A fine, simple little restaurant. We had alhambres and tacos de pollo. Food was quickly prepared and served with five different salsas caseras. Tasty! Service was excellent and prompt. ”

“ I wont dare say these are the best tacos because I still have time in Mexico to find a better place but to date these are the best tacos de pastor I’ve ever had. You can also watch them make your tacos from the table it’s great. I’m allergic to corn but they accommodated my allergy with flour tortillas. I also got an order of seasoned onions (spring onions?). They are perfect to put on your tacos but if you are not super into eating just onion I recommend asking for a 1/2 order. It’s still the same price but less wasteful if you don’t plan on taking it to go or finishing it. This is probably the closest you will come to eating street tacos if you are not into standing on a corner and eating from a cart. (I definitely recommend eating as much street food as possible). The service was exceptional and fast. 10/10 recommend! ”
“ Pretty calm atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon/early evening. Service was fast, the guy serving from the trompo was ready! The gringas were good. I would come back if I found myself in the area. Cheese was nice and melty on them. They have salsas labeled by spice level which was a nice touch. Cafe de olla was hot, and tasted great. Desserts were standard - get the job done. Pastor gringa order comes with 2 tacos and plenty to fill you up - just add a plain pastor taco afterwards if need be! ”
“ We had a really nice later dinner here, with a variety of dishes. All were delicious, and it was the first time we were served frijoles and chips with our salsas. It was a nice blending of influences given most restaurants do not serve chips in CDMX like Mexican restaurants in los Estados Unidos do. The Chilaquiles al Pastor were awesome! The only drawback was the panhandlers seemed to gravitate toward that corner location. The management did their best to keep things under control, but there is only so much they can do, and when people are in need they are more tenacious. They did accommodate one family who ordered too much, and then boxed up their leftovers to be given to one of the street musicians. I was impressed by that on everyone’s part! ”

When you get there they also bring you some chips and some condiments that you can peruse while you wait a very short period of time before getting the food you end up ordering. Service is fast and polite! ”
